 Two awards for Roch Voisine!

At last night’s L’Autre Gala de l’ADISQ, Roch Voisine walked away with “Album of the Year in Another Language” and “Cover Album of the Year” for his album Americana!

Roch Voisine is the only performer to be honoured with two Felix Awards at this evening’s gala! In accepting the awards, he thanked his fans above all: “People reacted to the album so quickly. It took off like a wildfire! I consider myself lucky and privileged to have landed a project like this one. It’s nice to see people of all ages, everywhere in Quebec, in cities and in the countryside, who like the album. I’ve been listening to this kind of music since I was a little boy. I’ve always used these tones whether I was singing in English or in French. Country music goes right to our roots. There’s always someone keeping the country music flame alive in families. Thank you to everyone!”

This makes a total of 14 Felix Awards for Roch Voisine in his career!
